IARSA

History

Using the bakery knowledge of Mr. Jose A. Riba, it was decided to place a bread bakery as an integral part of the supermarkets. This development was a success due to the high quality of products manufactured there. Since then, Riba Smith was identified with the term quality and made it his central focus.

In 1976 the bakery located in the supermarket grew so much that it was time to create a separate facility to manufacture all the products, therefore, IARSA was established. IARSA not only bakes products for Riba Smith but also sells its products to other markets and restaurants.

Here at IARSA (Industrias Alimenticias Ricas Viandas) our mission is to meet and exceed the expectations and needs of our customers by providing baked goods, pastries and other products of the highest quality. We like to take it a step further through our consumption of local inputs and having a green conscience.

Vision

Our goal is to see ourselves as the best company of bakery products, pastries and more. Also differentiate ourselves by keeping our focus on our customers, and reflecting our industry leadership through technological advances in our processes, innovation and dedication.
